This page explains what information Telos Advisory collects when you visit telosadvisory.in or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Who we are
Telos Advisory is a senior boutique advisory practice based in Gurugram, India. The site telosadvisory.in is operated by Apurv Goswami, founder and principal advisor.

What information we collect
We collect very little. Specifically:
Contact form submissions. When you complete the contact form on this site, we receive the name, email address, phone number (if provided), and message that you submit. We also automatically log the date and time of submission.
Communications you initiate. If you email or call us, we receive the contents of those communications and your contact details.
Basic site usage data. When you browse the site, our analytics tools collect standard information about your visit — pages viewed, time on page, device type, approximate location based on IP address, and how you arrived at the site. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
We do not collect sensitive personal information such as financial details, identification numbers, or health information through this site. If you wish to share any sensitive information with us as part of an engagement, that would happen through secure channels after a confidentiality agreement is in place.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide for the following purposes:
- To respond to your inquiries and schedule conversations
- To prepare for and deliver advisory engagements you have asked us about
- To maintain basic business records of conversations and engagements
- To improve the website based on aggregated, non-identifying usage patterns
We do not use your information for marketing purposes without your consent. We do not send promotional emails or newsletters unless you specifically opt in to receive them.
How long we keep your information
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 30 days. After 30 days, we delete them from our email system unless we are still in active conversation with you about an engagement.
If we proceed with an engagement, the records related to that engagement are retained as part of our normal business records under a separate confidentiality agreement.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing contact@telosadvisory.in.
Cookies and analytics
This site uses a small number of cookies and tracking tools:
Essential cookies. These are required for the site to function — they remember your theme preference (light or dark mode), for example.
Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site. This helps us improve content and design. Google Analytics may set cookies that store anonymised usage data.
Advertising and conversion tracking. When we run paid advertising campaigns, we use Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram ads) and LinkedIn Insight Tag to measure whether our advertising is reaching the right audience. These tools may set cookies in your browser.

Sharing your information
We do not share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not sell your information.
The only circumstances in which we may share information are:
- When you have explicitly asked us to (for example, introducing you to a partner)
- When we are legally required to do so by Indian law or court order
- With service providers who help us operate the site (for example, our email hosting provider) — these providers are bound by confidentiality and only access information as needed
WhatsApp and other messaging
If you contact us via WhatsApp through the WhatsApp button on our site, that conversation takes place on the WhatsApp platform and is governed by WhatsApp's own privacy terms (operated by Meta Platforms). We treat WhatsApp conversations with the same care as email and phone communications, but the platform itself is outside our direct control.
Your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023
Under India's DPDP Act 2023, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- The right to know what information we hold about you
- The right to correct any inaccurate information
- The right to ask us to delete your information
- The right to withdraw consent for any processing you previously agreed to
- The right to file a grievance if you believe we have not handled your information properly

Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices change or as required by law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. We will notify visitors of material changes via a notice on the website.
